B.E.T Award Show 2012

B.E.T Award Show was an non blinker from the start to the end. The show started with a skit by the host Samuel Jackson who had Spike Lee to join him on  stage with their version of Jay Z & Kanye’s N*ggars In Paris. Jayz was a no-show for the on stage performance with Jay Z.  He did apologize for being late and blamed the traffic for his tardiness. Jay Z also got a laugh as he almost interrupted Kanye’s speech to way Kanye did Taylor Swift.

Kanye wasn’t the only star to shine in the arena that night, as Common took home the Centric Award. Tank another In The Chi favorite was also in the spotlight as he announced the new group; T.G.T with members Tyrese and Genuine. Ladies look out for the shirts off tour coming to a stadium near you.

There were two showdowns of the night, one was between the two Carter’s Beyonce and JayZ. with Jay the winner for his collaboration with Kanye’s Otis. The two threw punches playing up the camera to delight the fans. One could not over look the missed hug that Jay did not deliver to Kim. K. Instead he nudged her on the elbow. B- also kept her distance as she sat next to her sister Solange instead of her repoerted new BFF Kim K. Kim looked washed out in the all white that mirrored her new love interest Kanye. Kim, stay in your lane and keep it sexy!!

The night ended with the youngest of entertainers snagging the people choice award and Chris Brown  regaining his title of “                                                        ” for the third year in a row. Was it ay in the front row, or did Chris forget that he was  to take his award and thank hios fans, as he rushed opff the stage with the voice of Samuel ackson saying he left the stage …..Chris, come back. Only to catch up with Chris Brown back stage. This year’s show proved to be a sucess and bigger and better than the shows of the past.
